Explore Veteran Support Programs with QRF

Quick Reaction Family

Quick Reaction Family (QRF) is a veteran-driven nonprofit dedicated to supporting those who’ve served — especially veterans facing hardship, isolation, or the difficult transition back to civilian life. Founded on the principles of brotherhood, purpose, and resilience, QRF’s mission is to give struggling veterans the same camaraderie, structure, and sense of belonging that once kept them strong in uniform.

Through hands-on experiences like shooting, off-roading, camping, fishing, fitness challenges, and outdoor therapy, QRF helps veterans rebuild confidence, find community, and rediscover their sense of mission. Every event is designed to bring vets together, reignite teamwork, and remind them that they’re not alone — that their fight still matters.

CRW Consulting proudly partners with QRF to raise awareness and funding for their programs. Together, we aim to honor service with action — helping veterans regain stability, purpose, and pride through meaningful connection, adventure, and support.

“Because the mission doesn’t end when the uniform comes off.”

QRF Mission:

Our mission is to provide recreational therapy (RT) to at-risk veterans and first responders to restore and improve their bio-psycho-social functioning capabilities through active therapy and creating meaningful activities to maintain and improve quality of life. We strive to create a safe and supportive environment where they can develop a sense of self-worth and purpose. We also strive to help them build resilience and cope with their PTSD, substance abuse disorder and other mental health issues they may have from enduring trauma. Recreational therapy offers numerous benefits for mental health by engaging individuals in activities that promote relaxation, socialization, and personal growth. It provides a constructive outlet for stress and anxiety, helping participants develop coping skills and enhance their emotional resilience. Additionally, recreational therapy fosters a sense of community, encouraging veterans and first responders to connect with others who have faced similar challenges, thereby reducing feelings of isolation.

Who They Serve:

The QRF program helps veterans and first responders struggling with trauma, depression, and substance abuse. Our small group approach provides personal accountability, support, and a deeper connection with others dealing with similar issues. The small group approach allows for more personalized attention and tailored support, fostering a sense of camaraderie and trust among participants. It encourages open dialogue and sharing of experiences, which can be incredibly therapeutic and validating for those involved. By working closely in these intimate settings, individuals often feel more comfortable expressing their feelings and challenges, leading to more effective healing and personal growth.
